Foreign Expats Visa Policy Updates
Briefing by Shanghai Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs
Since April 1, 2017, Shanghai has implemented new visa rules under its pilot Foreign Worker Visa Program. The reform also introduced a Foreigner’s Work Permit card. While the new reforms were aimed at easing the visa procedures for expatriates in China, many companies have reported difficulties under the new program.
In order to help the member companies of our community gain a better understanding of the reforms, BenCham is co-hosting with the SwissCham Shanghai a briefing by Mrs. Zhu Yinghua from Shanghai Foreign Expert Affairs Bureau/Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on the new policies.
Mrs. Zhu’s bureau is responsible for implementing the new reform. Following her briefing, there will be a Q&A session. Please join us in this joint event to learn more about the new policies rules and consequences for visas and work-permits in China.
Please be aware the main language at this event is Chinese with consecutive translation into English by a translator.
