The past year of 2018 witnessed several important new developments in China's intellectual property laws, which have also been the focus of attention for many foreign investors in China.

Standing at one of China's most economically developed areas, the Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Court has presided over intellectual property cases with great significance from both legal and economic perspectives.

For example, in one of the Court's most important decisions in 2018, the Court awarded several million RMB in damages to a Nordic company against two Chinese infringers for their trademark infringement and misrepresentations.

Through this visit, you will learn more about how the Court adjudicates intellectual property cases, the efforts made by the Court to make it easier for foreign companies to enforce their IP rights and the new trends in the development in China's IPlaws.

For this interchamber event there are in total 20 seats reserved for members. Kindly note that we will be using the first come first served principle with the reservation.
